C-Dilla License Manager RTS Update:
3.25.010

Overview:

• This upgrade includes all the features of the previous versions of the C-dilla RTS and can be used with Windows 2000/98/NT4/ME and XP. 

  Problems Addressed by 3.25.010:

• This upgrade addresses continual re-authorization problems stemming from changes in the Disk 0 status. This is usually caused by adding or removing external storage devices. 

  ---

  Note: You may encounter problems with this patch if you boot into different operating systems from separate hard drives. Re-authorizing will usually rectify these problems.

  Installation:

  After you download this update, you can install it by following these instructions.

   

  To install the License Manager RTS Update on the target computer

   

  1. Unzip the c-dilla3.25.010.zip file to a temporary directory.
  2. Close all other applications and log in as administrator. (This includes any currently running versions of the C-Dilla License Management System).
  3. In the temporary directory, open the RTS folder and double-click the CdSetup.exe file.
  4. In the 'C-Dilla License Management System Setup' dialog box, choose Install.
  5. When installation is complete, take one of the following actions:
  6. Choose Restart Windows to restart your computer OR Choose Exit, then restart your computer.

  Note: Even though you will see NT, w31x and w95 sub-folders, this update will work for your installation of 3ds max running under Windows 2000/NT4/98/ME and XP.

  ---

  Turning off a currently running version of C-Dilla

  There are two ways to shut down a currently running License Management System.

   

  1. Choose the Un-Install option after launching CdSetup.exe. Then use the steps above to re-install.
  2. Open the Task Manager and end the CDILLA64.EXE and cdilla10.exe processes.

  ---

  Note: You must restart your computer in order for the installation settings to take effect. 3ds max 4.x will then function normally.
